I was wandering around campus the other day with my camera. Captured these:
Thoughts and Musings
That’s right folks, winter break is officially a wrap! Tomorrow by this time I will be back in State College, PA. Break was a BLAST! It was as I hoped it would be: filled with family, friends, and relaxation. I received for Christmas a new Canon DSLR. The New Year’s Pictures were taken with it, so look out for that stunning image clarity from now on!
Back to the real world, as they say. Respect the grind.
From Break:
Wow! 2010?!?!
Here’s to a healthy, prosperous, and loving new year.
I brought in 2010 at my buddy D-Bo’s house in Manayunk. We rang in the new year in style with 6 or 7 $5.99 bottles of Champagne. Throughout the night I managed to lose my water bottle, my camera’s lens cap (found), my phone, and my desire to imbibe adult beverages ever again.
And now, the debauchery:
More stress relief. This time, however, in the form of a techno rave. It actually turned out to be pretty wild, with about 600 students attending. It was cool to see a lot of people getting really into it, not just dancing–I saw a gorilla, greenman, santa clause, 4 ninjas, and Elvis, as well as a handful of other creative (and not so creative) costumes.
It was my first time crowd surfing, or stage diving, and let me tell you–you have to try it. But make sure you have some friends willing to make sure you don’t fall and break a hip (it happened).

Thanksgiving was great. I got to see much of my extended family and all but a handful of friends. What more could I ask for? Spent the week (off from school) relaxing, being bored in my small town, but in an oddly comforting way. Played some football on Thanksgiving day, after the parade. It felt good to put the ol’ number 25 jersey on again and run around on the field I played on.
